Employees of Mishti Mela Hospital in Orakzai tribal district have launched a protest after not receiving their salaries for the past five months.

The protesting staff said that despite repeated appeals, the authorities have failed to release their dues, leaving their households in financial distress.

Medical staff participating in the protest said the hospital's services have been severely affected due to the non-payment of salaries.
