Teacher Arrested For Allegedly Attempting Sexual Assault On Minor Student In Nowshera

A teacher at a religious seminary in the Subhat Khel area of Risalpur, Nowshera, has been accused of attempting to sexually assault a minor student. Police acted swiftly and arrested the suspect as he tried to flee the scene.

According to police sources, the victim's uncle stated that the seminary teacher, identified as Qari Atif, allegedly attempted to assault his nephew, Abbas. The frightened child reported the incident to his family, who then informed the authorities.

Police have registered a case against the accused under Sections 376 and 511 of the Pakistan Penal Code on the complaint of the child's uncle, Saeed Ahmad.
The victim has been shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Nowshera for medical examination, while further investigation is underway.
