Black Day For Kashmir Marked Across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa With Rallies And Solidarity Messages
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa observed Kashmir Black Day with full zeal and fervour, as rallies were held in Peshawar, Parachinar, and other tribal districts to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir. A large number of government officials, civil society members, students, and citizens participated in the events.
In Peshawar, a rally was taken out from the Chief Minister's Secretariat to the Governor House, led by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi. Participants chanted slogans against Indian atrocities and carried placards bearing messages of support for the Kashmiri people.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said that on 27 October 1947, Indian forces illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, which was a blatant violation of UN resolutions and international law. He added that Kashmiris have been facing brutal Indian state repression for more than seven decades, but their struggle for freedom will ultimately succeed.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi, in his message, said that freedom is the fundamental right of the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), and the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa fully support their struggle. He said that lasting peace in the region is linked to the just resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
Rallies and events were also organised across the tribal districts to mark the occasion. In Parachinar, the district administration, tribal elders, and citizens held a rally to protest against Indian atrocities in Kashmir.
Addressing participants outside Israr High School, Additional Deputy Commissioner Aamir Nawaz and tribal elders strongly condemned the ongoing oppression against Kashmiris by India. They urged the global community to break its silence and help ensure the right to self-determination for the Kashmiri people.
Aamir Nawaz said that Kashmiris are our brothers, and their support will continue under all circumstances. Participants carried Kashmiri flags and raised anti-India slogans during the rally.
