Russian Guided Aerial Bombs Strike Civilian Infrastructure In Sumy, One Person Injured


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Acting Sumy Mayor Artem Kobzar reported this in his Telegram post, according to Ukrinform.

"Early this morning, the enemy carried out strikes on our city with guided aerial bombs. A civilian infrastructure facility, a non-residential building, was hit. Unfortunately, one person, a 56-year-old man, was injured. Medical personnel are providing him with necessary care," Kobzar said.

According to him, the strikes damaged about 30 windows in nearby apartment buildings. All relevant services are working at the site.

The city council noted that a mobile headquarters will operate on site to consult victims and accept applications for inspection of damaged apartments.

The city council added that following orders from the national energy company Ukrenergo, emergency power outage schedules have been implemented across the Sumy region.

As Ukrinform previously reported, on October 16, 46 settlements in the Sumy region came under enemy fire, with three people injured.
