Namaa Charity Lays Corner Stone For Building Al-Muna Village In Chad

Al-Khartoum, Oct 16 (KUNA) - Namaa charity announced on Thursday laying the foundation stone for the model village of "Al-Muna" in Chad. The project includes 50 housing units, a mosque, a health dispensary, a school and a water well.
Head of the Development and Relief Sector at Namaa Charity Khaled Al-Shammari said in a statement to KUNA that the project is one of the most important development initiatives of this year.
He explained that the village was designed to provide a safe and integrated residential environment for poor families and displaced persons who lost their homes due to conflicts and disasters.
Namaa Charity focuses on integrated projects that combine relief and sustainable development, noting that the project site was selected based on thorough field studies conducted in cooperation with local partners to ensure that support reaches those who are most in need, Al-Shammari added.
Al-Shammari extended his thanks to the donors from Kuwait, praising their continuous support. (end)
