Halal Expo 2025 to offer opportunities with ‘private label’ zone
(MENAFN) The Halal Expo 2025, to be held in Istanbul as part of the 11th World Halal Summit, will feature a new “Private Label Cosmetics and Hygiene Area,” offering major opportunities for manufacturers and companies seeking to expand their private-label products into global markets.
According to a statement from the World Halal Summit Council on Monday, the event will take place at the Istanbul Expo Center from Nov. 26–29 under the auspices of the Turkish Presidency, in cooperation with the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and coordinated by Türkiye’s Trade Ministry and the Halal Accreditation Agency.
Hosted under the World Halal Summit, one of the leading global gatherings in the halal ecosystem, the event will welcome more than 50,000 visitors from over 110 countries, with Anadolu serving as the global communications partner.
The Private Label Cosmetics and Hygiene Area will connect producers with private-label capabilities to firms aiming to reach international markets, facilitating new trade partnerships and cross-border collaboration.
The statement noted that the private label market, currently valued at $915 billion, continues to grow rapidly due to changing consumer habits, rising price sensitivity, and manufacturers’ efforts to diversify brand strategies. The sector is projected to reach $1.6 trillion by 2034, strengthening its role in both traditional and e-commerce retail.
Türkiye, leveraging its strategic location, advanced production capacity, and robust supply infrastructure, is emerging as a regional hub for private-label manufacturing, further reinforcing its position in global trade.
