European Commission Provides EUR 100M In Guarantees To Attract Investment In Ukraine's Recovery
"In Brussels, as part of the Ukraine-EU: Invest in Recovery forum, the European Commission and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) signed an agreement to provide EUR 100 million in guarantees for investments in Ukraine," the statement reads.

According to the ministry, the guarantees will be directed to the Amber Dragon [Ukraine Infrastructure] Fund, which invests in transport, logistics, energy, and telecommunications – key sectors for Ukraine's recovery and sustainable economic growth.

The initiative is being implemented under the Better Futures – Resilience, Reconstruction and Regeneration of Ukraine (RE-Ukraine) program, launched by the European Commission within the Global Gateway framework. Its component, the High Impact Equity Program, provides for direct IFC equity investments in Ukrainian companies, unlike the debt instruments that previously dominated financing structures.
