Trump Arrives in Tel Aviv for Diplomatic Visit


(MENAFN) US President Donald Trump arrived in Tel Aviv on Monday, as reported by Israel's Government Press Office.

Upon his arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, the American leader was greeted by Israeli President Isaac Herzog and his wife Michal Herzog, along with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his spouse Sara Netanyahu, the office confirmed.

During his visit, Trump is scheduled to meet with families of Israeli hostages and deliver a speech at the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, according to information from the White House.

Following his engagements in Israel, the president will leave for Egypt at 1 pm (1100 GMT) to participate in the Sharm el-Sheikh Peace Summit focused on Gaza.
