
Qatar Air Cargo Customs Foils Attempt To Smuggle Methamphetamine 'Shabu'
Doha, Qatar: The Air Cargo Customs Department has thwarted an attempt to smuggle the narcotic substance methamphetamine, known as 'Shabu', after a customs inspector grew suspicious of one of the incoming postal parcels.
Upon subjecting the parcel to inspection and examination, the narcotic substance was found concealed in a sophisticated manner inside fishing line spools.
The total weight of the seized substance was approximately 1.316 kilograms.
