
Ukrainian Government Allocates Additional UAH 36.6B To Defense Ministry
“This is a financial resource to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities. We will allocate it to cover the most priority needs,” Shmyhal said.
He specified that the funds will support:
-
implementation of defense-industrial complex development programs;
introduction of new technologies;
expansion of the defense industry's production capacities;
procurement of weapons and military equipment.
Additionally, UAH 500 million will go to support Ukrainian arms manufacturers, he said.
“We are working comprehensively and systematically to strengthen Ukraine with domestically produced weapons that will inflict irreparable losses on the enemy,” the defense minister added.
