Jordan Loewen-Colón is a leading voice in Responsible AI, guiding organizations through the complexities of ethical tech policy. As the former AI, Ethics, and Data Justice Fellow at Queen's University and CEO of a digital therapeutics startup, he brings a unique blend of academic rigor and entrepreneurial insight to his work.
Most recently, he has cofounded the AI Alt Lab which partners with state and local governments (like Utah and the city of Berkeley), AI startups, and large health organizations to ensure their data practices align with ethical principles while preparing their data governance structures for Generative AI solutions. His broader research focus delves into AI ethics, emerging tech, philosophy, and Indigenous data sovereignty, highlighted in his forthcoming book, "Reality Technologies: The Promises and Problems of Tech Culture" (Fortress Press 2025) which explores the societal impact of tech. Beyond research, he actively engages audiences through dynamic Twitch streams and podcasts.
