King Hussein Business Park Launches “Smart Commutes” Platform, Enhancing its Shuttle Bus Service
(MENAFN- Asdaa-amman) King Hussein Business Park (KHBP) has signed a memorandum of understanding for Smart Commutes, a valuable digital companion to the on-premise shuttle bus service that will launch on 15 October 2025. This new web-based platform is designed to provide KHBP’s community of employees and students with more efficient and stress-free transportation.
The launch of Smart Commutes is a key step in King Hussein Business Park’s ongoing digital transformation strategy and aligns with its vision for a smart, efficient, and sustainable hub as it expands into Phase II. The platform provides real-time bus tracking and interactive route selection, ensuring transparency and reliability for all users.
Commuters can sign in with their phone number, select their pickup and drop-off points, and track the shuttle in real-time. Similarly, drivers can easily access live information for stops and passengers through a dedicated dashboard, enhancing communication and service efficiency. QR codes will be placed in all shuttle bus stops and user manuals will be shared with KHBP tenants to simplify access.
Commenting on the launch of the platform, Chief Executive Officer of the King Hussein Business Park, Ammar Izziddin, said, “The King Hussein Business Park prides itself on being a hub of technology and innovation, and this extends to the services we provide to our community. Smart Commutes is a testament to the valuable ecosystem we have built that supports innovation from within. By leveraging technology, we can provide a seamless commuting experience that enhances punctuality and reduces waiting times for everyone.”
By digitizing this critical process, Smart Commutes provides KHBP with a continuous feed of data, enabling it to continuously improve the internal transportation system based on actual user behavior. This platform is also designed to be scalable, allowing it to meet the future growth demands of the Business Park in its upcoming phases.
This initiative follows the recent revamp of the official website and the introduction of other AI-powered services, highlighting KHBP as a pioneer in smart mobility solutions.
