Zelensky Calls On EU To Open First Negotiating Cluster On Ukraine's Membership

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Head of State made the remarks during his address at the plenary session of the European Political Community Summit in Copenhagen, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We need real progress. Ukraine has completed the screening process, we are ready to open cluster one, and this must be done just as agreed,” the President emphasized.

He also urged summit participants - leaders of EU member states - to support Moldova and the Western Balkans countries on their path to European Union membership.

As Ukrinform reported, Hungary, using the unanimity rule for EU enlargement decisions, continues to block the start of Ukraine's EU accession negotiations.
