Nova Kakhovka Collaborator Leontiev Dies In Drone Attack - Media
“After the drone attack, the head of the occupation Council of Deputies of Nova Kakhovka, Vladimir Leontiev, died in hospital,” the report said.
As reported, on October 1, in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region , the former head of the occupation administration of the Kakhovka district and Nova Kakhovka, Leontiev, was attacked by a drone and hospitalized in serious condition.

In March 2022, Leontiev ordered Russian military personnel to kidnap and torture the mayor of Beryslav, Alexander Shapovalov, for which he was sentenced to 15 years.

In 2024, Leontiev was sentenced to 12 years in prison for the illegal imprisonment of a journalist from the Kakhovka newspaper, the mayor of Tavriia, and the secretary of the Nova Kakhovka City Council.
