Kremlin Says Talks with Ukraine Temporarily Halted

(MENAFN) Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov announced on Wednesday that negotiations with Ukraine have been temporarily halted.

When questioned about the prospects of direct talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Peskov emphasized that expert-level discussions could set the stage for future high-level meetings.

He warned that these meetings should not be viewed as a final goal, stressing that they alone would not resolve what he referred to as a complex and challenging issue.

Despite the pause, Peskov reiterated that Russia remains open to finding a resolution through diplomatic and political channels.
