Putin Commends “Unprecedented” Russia-China Relations

(MENAFN) Russian President Vladimir Putin praised the “unprecedented” strength of Moscow-Beijing relations in a message to Chinese President Xi Jinping, marking China’s 76th National Day on Wednesday.

In a statement published by the Kremlin, Putin highlighted that “Russian-Chinese relations are at an unprecedented level – this was fully confirmed by our recent thorough and constructive discussions in Tianjin and Beijing.”

Putin emphasized China’s continued progress in socioeconomic, scientific, and technological development, noting the country’s growing influence on the global stage and its role in tackling critical international challenges.

He conveyed confidence that the recently reached agreements would strengthen bilateral cooperation and dialogue, opening opportunities for the launch of significant joint projects across multiple sectors.

“This undoubtedly meets the fundamental interests of the friendly peoples of Russia and China and is consistent with the construction of a just and democratic multipolar world order,” Putin added.

China annually celebrates the founding of the People’s Republic of China on October 1, commemorating Mao Zedong’s formal proclamation in 1949.
