Drone Attack in Ukraine’s Dnipro Results in Casualties

(MENAFN) At least one individual lost their life and 28 others were wounded following a Russian drone assault on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

The announcement was made Tuesday by Serhiy Lysak via Telegram.

Lysak detailed that 12 of those harmed have been admitted to hospitals for treatment, while the rest are recuperating at home. He noted that the victims suffered from “shrapnel wounds, lacerations and bruises,” a result of the explosive impact. Multiple fires ignited across the city in the aftermath of the attack.

“All services are working. They are overcoming the consequences of the enemy strike,” Lysak stated, indicating that emergency and recovery teams are actively dealing with the aftermath of the assault.

He further alleged that later that evening, Russian forces bombarded the Pokrovska community in the Nikopol district using heavy artillery.

Additional attacks were carried out using guided aerial bombs and FPV drones, which struck both the Pokrovska and Mezhivska communities within the Synelnyky district, reportedly causing destruction to a civilian home.

Russia has not yet issued any response regarding these accusations.
