Trump, Netanyahu Agree On 20-Point Gaza Peace Plan
US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have agreed on a 20-point plan on Gaza, proposing an immediate end to fighting,
European and Middle Eastern leaders welcomed the peace plan for Gaza, as President Donald Trump warned Hamas to accept it.
The plan, agreed by Trump and Netanyahu, proposes an immediate end to fighting, the release within 72 hours of 20 living Israeli hostages held by Hamas as well as the remains of the more than two dozen hostages who are believed to be dead – in exchange for hundreds of detained Gazans.
Hamas officials have been given the 20-point plan, a Palestinian source told the BBC.
The plan also says Hamas will have no role in governing Gaza, and leaves the door open for an eventual Palestinian state – but Netanyahu later again ruled this out.
