Qatar Open To Any Role In Gaza To Rebuild And Support Population

Doha, Qatar: Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari, reaffirmed on Tuesday Qatar's steadfast support for Gaza, stressing its readiness to take on any role that contributes to rebuilding the enclave and assisting its people in the aftermath of the ongoing Israeli onslaught.

During his weekly press briefing, Al Ansari emphasized that Qatar remains committed to providing all possible support aimed at ending the war and contributing to reconstruction efforts.

"That would apply to any initiative that is there on the table right now,” he said.

“We will not shy away from having these roles, but obviously we are doing them in tandem with [all of our partners],” he added.

Commenting on the Trump-proposed peace plan for Gaza, Al Ansari noted that Hamas officials had received the full plan late last night (September 29, 2025) and have assured to“responsibly examine” it, with a meeting scheduled for today.

He cautioned that it was too early to predict the outcome but noted that Qatar is "upbeat", further describing the proposed plan as comprehensive.
