Imran Khan Warns Against Divisive Elements In PTI During Adiala Jail Meeting With CM Gandapur

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur held a crucial meeting with PTI Chairman Imran Khan at Adiala Jail today, lasting more than two hours. Following the meeting, party spokesperson Barrister Dr. Saif briefed the media on the discussions.

Addressing internal rifts within the party, Imran Khan made it clear that negative rhetoric and divisive elements harming unity would not be tolerated.“Those creating differences have no place in the party,” he was quoted as saying.

According to Dr. Saif, the meeting covered in detail the province's law and order situation, security concerns, and peace-building measures through tribal jirgas. Imran Khan expressed full confidence in the Chief Minister, instructing him to take more effective steps to strengthen peace in the province.

The spokesperson added that issues related to negotiations and coordination with Afghanistan were also discussed, with Imran Khan directing the Chief Minister to play an active role in this regard. Economic matters and the provincial budget were also reviewed, with Khan expressing satisfaction after a comprehensive briefing.

On financial issues, Imran Khan summoned Adviser on Finance Muzzammil Aslam for a follow-up meeting, instructing him to approach the court to remove hurdles in holding consultations.

Performance of various ministries and departments also came under discussion. Imran Khan granted the Chief Minister full authority to take immediate steps for improving governance and service delivery.

Dr. Saif further stated that the Chief Minister will once again approach the Supreme Court tomorrow against restrictions on meetings with Imran Khan.“The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have given Imran Khan a mandate, and regular consultation with him is essential,” he added.
