Army Chief Meets UK Senior Defense Adviser For Middle East

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 29 (KUNA) -- Army Chief of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Khaled Al-Shraiaan on Monday received the UK Senior Defense Adviser for the Middle East, Vice Admiral Edward Ahlgren, and his delegation.
Al-Shraiaan underlined the deep, historic Kuwait-UK ties and the steady growth of military cooperation, the Army General Staff said.
The meeting discussed issues of mutual interest, especially ways to develop and strengthen military collaboration, with Deputy Chief of the General Staff Maj. Gen. (Pilot) Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and senior officers in attendance. (end)
