Following the inauguration, Mohamed Al Ajlan was guided through an official tour of the exhibition floor, engaging with exhibitors and previewing the range of solutions on display.

“Jeddah Construct, now in its second edition, stresses the growing importance of the Western Province as a hub for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. The event brings together a diverse international exhibitor base, reflecting the international interest in Saudi Arabia's ambitious development plans, while providing local contractors, developers and stakeholders with direct access to the latest products and solutions. The strong footfall and engagement on the exhibition floor highlight the appetite for collaboration and knowledge exchange, demonstrating how the event actively supports the Kingdom's Vision 2030 objectives and the ongoing growth of the region's construction sector,” said Muhammed Kazi, Senior Vice President, dmg events.

With over 200 exhibitors representing more than 20 countries, the event strikes a balance between its international scale and its firm grounding in Jeddah's evolving market needs. Among the local manufacturers showcasing innovation at Jeddah Construct, Al Jazirah Falcon drew strong interest with its range of Saudi-made water coolers, desert coolers and showcase refrigerators, produced across its three factories in the Kingdom. Using the event as a stage to strengthen its market presence, the company also introduced new products, including dehumidifiers and swimming pool heat pumps, which were officially launched for the first time at the exhibition. The display highlighted Al Jazirah Falcon's commitment to expanding locally manufactured solutions while complementing its portfolio with globally sourced technologies.

Italian insulation manufacturer K-Flex reinforced its long-term commitment to the Saudi Arabian market, highlighting thermal, acoustic and fire-stopping solutions supported by two regional factories in Egypt and the UAE. Another exhibitor, Arham Security Group, showcased a comprehensive range of architectural door hardware, from traditional locking systems to electromechanical and digital solutions, signalling its expansion into Saudi Arabia, intending to elevate safety standards in residential and commercial developments.

Rubber World presented its Gulf-O-Flex range of flexible elastomeric insulation for HVAC ducts, piping and acoustic applications. Built to withstand Saudi Arabia's extreme climate, the range supports energy savings of up to 30–40% by reducing cooling loads. Gulf-O-Flex will be fully manufactured in Saudi Arabia from 2025, establishing the Kingdom's first domestic thermal insulation production facility.

Al Yamamah Steel Industries presented its latest range of steel and renewable energy solutions, highlighting its role in shaping a more sustainable construction landscape. The company reinforced its vision of building a stronger future for the Kingdom, underpinned by innovation, sustainability and quality.

Elsewhere on the exhibition floor Construct Talks, the event's CPD-certified programme, opened with a fireside session moderated by Esmail Alqadhi, MSc, CSP, Senior Executive Manager, HSS, Bupa Arabia, featuring Dr Wael Samy Abdelghany, HSE Director – Non-Haramain Projects, Saudi Binladin Group. The discussion emphasized the importance of safety beyond procedures to become a culture rooted in accountability, empathy and leadership. Drawing from experience managing large-scale projects with a large workforce, Dr Abdelghany stressed that lasting change relies on shared responsibility across all levels, succinctly stating:“Safety is not instruction, it is care in action.”

The momentum continued through the day with sessions led by experts from IHCC, the Jeddah Historic District and the Saudi Council of Engineers, covering topics such as human-centred design, balancing heritage with modern delivery and smarter execution frameworks. Conversations explored how speed of delivery must be matched with stakeholder alignment, data-driven planning and environmental responsibility, mirroring the Kingdom's broader shift from rapid expansion to resilient, sustainable development.

Visitors also engaged at the interactive Engagement Zone, which continues to offer hands-on activities for skills development and creativity
