Åsa Petersén is a professor of neuroscience and leads a research group investigating the neurodegenerative Huntington disease and related disorders at Lund University, Sweden. She is also a senior consultant in psychiatry and head of the multidisciplinary HD clinic at Skane University Hospital in Lund, as well as the deputy-chair of the executive committee of the European Huntington Disease Network (EHDN). She has almost 30 years of experience in HD research.
