Trump Supports Ukraine's Long-Range Strikes Against Russia - Kellogg

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) He said this on Fox News , according to Ukrinform.

According to the US Special Representative, Ukraine never requested the presence of American military forces, but only requested weapons and permission to use them.

When asked whether Kyiv had such permission, Kellogg replied: "Everybody should follow what the President says. He's the Commander in Chief, by the Constitution, and everybody falls in line. When the President doesn't go left, you go left. If he says you go right, you right. So when the president said to do something, we just need to do that and complete the action," Kellogg said.

When asked to clarify whether Trump's position is that Ukraine can launch long-range strikes against Russia, Kellogg replied in the affirmative.

"I think reading what he has said, and reading what Vice President Vance has said as well as Secretary Rubio, the answer is yes. Use the ability to hit deep. There are no such things as sanctuaries," Kellogg said.

According to him, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asked for long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles during his meeting with Trump, but no decision has been made yet.

Kellogg also stressed that Moscow is not achieving its goals in the war against Ukraine. "Russia is not winning this war. If they were winning, they would be in Kyiv, Odesa, on the other side of the Dnipro," he said.

As reported by Ukrinform, US Vice President J. D. Vance confirmed yesterday that the administration of US President Donald Trump is discussing Ukraine's request for Tomahawk missiles.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he has Trump's clear support for strikes on Russian targets, such as energy infrastructure and weapons factories. He added that during his meeting with Trump, he asked for“one thing” (certain weapons) that would put“additional pressure on Putin.”
