Lufthansa Group To Slash 4,000 Jobs By 2030 Citing Efficiency Improvement

BERLIN, Sept 29 (KUNA) -- Germany's Lufthansa group announced on Monday plans to cut 4,000 jobs by 2030 in a move aimed at improving efficiency.
In a statement, the group explained that these jobs are to be digitized in order to raise profits, boost support for Eurowings, expanding cargo activities, logistic services and maintenance.
Lufthansa Group is considered the largest in Europe as it is the parent company of all of Lufthansa, Swiss Air, Austria Air, Eurowings and Brussels Airlines. (end)
