IDF murders ten civilians, harm others in Gaza

(MENAFN) Early Monday, the Israeli military reportedly killed ten additional civilians and injured several others in the Gaza Strip, according to local reports.

Civil defense teams recovered the bodies of nine individuals on Al-Nasr Street in Gaza City, as stated by reports. The military also targeted areas near the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, restricting access to the hospital in an apparent effort to besiege the neighborhood and push residents southward, according to reports.

Operations continued in the Shati refugee camp, where the army detonated booby-trapped vehicles. Dozens of civilians have died amid days of aerial and ground assaults on the camp, part of a broader strategy to fully occupy the city, according to reports.

In the central Gaza Strip, one person was killed and nine others were wounded when a tent sheltering displaced Palestinians north of the Nuseirat refugee camp was struck, as stated by reports.

Since October 2023, over 66,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, have reportedly been killed in Gaza due to Israeli military actions. The ongoing bombardment has made large parts of the enclave uninhabitable, while also causing widespread starvation and outbreaks of disease, according to reports.
