(MENAFN- Newsroom Panama) Inspectors from the Western Zone Customs Prevention and Inspection Directorate (DPFA) conducted simultaneous operations in the provinces of Chiriquí and Bocas del Toro, seizing merchandise without legal documentation. During operations carried out in two residences located in the city of David, Chiriquí province, DPFA inspectors found 3,364 shoe boxes of different brands without the corresponding legal documentation. Those responsible must appear before the authorities to begin the legal process in accordance with current regulations.

Meanwhile, a checkout area was inspected at a commercial establishment located on the main street of the Las Tablas district, Changuinola district, Bocas del Toro province. During the inspection, officers found 98 units of Vital Honey and 99 units of Blunt Wrap Platinum grape flavor, without any supporting documentation proving their legal possession. The owner of the establishment, a Panamanian citizen, stated that he did not have invoices or permits to sell these products. Faced with this situation, the inspectors proceeded to seize the merchandise and take it to the DPFA offices, where the corresponding administrative process will begin.
