6 Arrested On Theft, Immoral Activity Charges In Jawzjan
SHEBERGHAN (Pajhwok): Six individuals have been arrested on charges of theft and immoral activities in northern Jawzjan province, an official said on Monday.
Police spokesman Qari Abdul Sattar Halimi told Pajhwok Afghan News the suspects were taken into custody for allegedly stealing a motorcycle, cash and shop goods, in addition to engaging in immoral acts.
He said the arrests were made during separate operations conducted by the 2nd police district and the 1st police division.
The detainees have confessed to their crimes during interrogation, according to Halimi.
He added that 5,000 afghanis in cash and stolen shop items recovered from the suspects had been returned to their rightful owner.
