Zelensky To Participate In Warsaw Security Forum


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The forum will open on Monday morning with speeches by President Zelensky and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

Approximately 2,500 participants from around 90 countries are expected to attend the Warsaw forum, including heads of government, ministers, senior officials, and leading experts. They will discuss the major challenges of our time: strengthening Europe's defense capabilities, preserving transatlantic unity, and holding Russia accountable for its aggression. This year's forum partner is France.

During the event, the“Knight of Freedom – 2025” award will be presented. This year's recipient is Jens Stoltenberg, former NATO Secretary General (2014–2024), recognized for his significant contribution to enhancing European security.

A Ukrainian delegation of government officials, politicians, and experts will also be present at the forum, including Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrii Sybiha.

On September 29, Warsaw will also host a meeting of foreign ministers in the Weimar Triangle format (Poland, Germany, France) plus Ukraine.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, a missile fragment damaged the consular section of the Polish Embassy in Kyiv during a large-scale Russian airstrike on Sunday.
