Jeddah Construct Opens Today, Bringing Local And International Construction Expertise To Saudi Arabia's Western Province

Jeddah Construct, powered by Big 5 Construct Saudi, opens its doors today at the Jeddah Superdome. Running from 28 – 30 September, the event hosts over 200 exhibitors and more than 13,000 industry professionals for three days of partnerships, knowledge sharing and business networking.

This year Jeddah Construct welcomes companies from more than 20 countries, including China, Italy, Poland, Thailand and Türkiye, offering visitors access to a diverse mix of local and international exhibitors. Among the Saudi Arabian companies participating are Madar, a leading building materials supplier; Masdar Building Materials, a major distributor of construction products; Al Yamamah Steel Industries, a prominent manufacturer of steel products, catering to the construction, electrical, and telecommunication sectors; Steel Force Trading, a global steel and building materials trading company; and Abdulwahed Ahmad bin Shabib for Trading, a diversified multinational enterprise.

Sustainability is also a key focus at Jeddah Construct this year, where the addition of EcoTrail spotlights products and solutions that champion sustainability in construction. Key highlights include recyclable steel sheets by BAZ International Industry, GreenPro-certified aluminium access panels by MM2MM Products, wood-based panels by Masdar Building Materials developed to reduce waste and improve efficiency and eco-friendly nano-coatings by SÖLL Nano Application, designed to extend material life and conserve resources. These solutions showcase how sustainable practices are being embedded across the sector to support the country's sustainability ambitions. Engagement Zone

Adding an interactive element, the Engagement Zone will feature activities designed to test visitors' speed, skill and creativity. Challenges include the Match the Sign Challenge, a one-minute test of construction safety knowledge; the Drill it Challenge, a one-minute screw installation test against the clock; and the Build to Win Challenge, where participants design and stack the tallest tower using foam bricks, complete with entry and exit requirements at ground level.
