(MENAFN- Newsroom Panama) Panama – In an atmosphere of unity and commitment, parents, students, teachers, and educational authorities participated this Monday in a march against student violence in the capital of Veraguas. The walk began at José Santos Puga School and ended at Juan Demóstenes Arosemena Park, where participants held up banners with messages of hope and calls for peaceful coexistence. Slogans such as“To educate is to love,” “Peace begins at home,” and“Schools free from violence” marked the day. Student spokesperson Jorge Omar Agudo made a strong call to parents and the Veraguas community to strengthen communication in their homes and work together to eradicate violence in schools.

“The solution lies in unity and dialogue. Only in this way will we build a future where respect reigns,” he said. For her part, the regional director of the Ministry of Education (MEDUCA), María Pimentel , highlighted the coordinated work with psycho-pedagogical offices, public institutions, and the educational community to promote programs that strengthen values ​​and healthy coexistence. The march concluded with a symbolic act of integration, where students and families reaffirmed their commitment to building safer, more supportive, and peaceful schools.
