Kuwait Reaffirms Deep-Seated Commitment To Human Rights Protection

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) GENEVA, Sept 18 (KUNA) -- Kuwait, on Thursday, reaffirmed deep-seated commitment to protecting and sustaining human rights.
The aforementioned remark was made by Dr. Nada Al-Dhubaib before a UN human rights council session in Geneva, where she pointed out the State of Kuwait's sponsorship for SMEs, as part of economic, social and cultural rights, which; according to the Second Secretary, are "inseparable" from civil and political rights, especially in a multilateral and just environment.
She also called for respecting international law, depoliticizing human rights issues' and not using them as a tool to pressure and/or interfere in countries' inner affairs. (end)
