Trump On Settling Russia's War In Ukraine:“Putin Let Me Down”
“The one that I thought would be easiest would be because of my relationship with President (Vladmir) Putin. He's let me down. He's really let me down. Was going to be Russia and Ukraine, but we'll see how that turns out. But that turned out to be - I thought it might be among the easiest of the group,” Trump stated.
According to him, Putin is killing a lot of people, though losing more of his own soldiers.
He added that although the war does not have a direct impact on the United States, in his view it could potentially lead to a third world war.
At the same time, Trump compared the complexity of the Russia–Ukraine war to the situation between Israel and Gaza. Still, he expressed hope that both conflicts could be resolved.
