Alrowwad Launches The Emergency Intervention Project To Provide Humanitarian Assistance In West Bank Camps

Alrowwad Society, in cooperation with ASTM, has launched the "Emergency Intervention" project to provide urgent and limited humanitarian aid to Palestinian refugees in nine refugee camps across the West Bank, aimed at alleviating the suffering of refugees in the camps despite the challenges, difficulties, and the limited resources available to Alrowwad.

The emergency intervention aims to provide essential healthcare and food assistance in the camps of Aida, Beit Jibrin, Dheisheh, Balata, Jenin, Tulkarem, Nur Shams, Al-Arroub, and Al-Fawwar.

The aid includes the distribution of food and hygiene parcels, the provision of medicines and necessary treatments for children and adults suffering from chronic diseases, as well as therapeutic milk, insulin, and diapers for children.

This project comes in response to the growing needs of Palestinian refugees under the difficult living conditions they face, particularly in light of the current political situation and the worsening economic crises.

Alrowwad reaffirmed its commitment to continuing to provide support and assistance to Palestinian refugees in various fields and to implementing further interventions that can contribute to improving their living conditions.

It is worth noting that Alrowwad Society launched this emergency intervention as a continuation of its relief program, which began during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 through direct humanitarian support for refugees in the camps of Bethlehem Governorate, and has expanded this year to cover nine camps across the West Bank.
