Geoff Keating is a Lecturer in Pathways Education at University of Southern Queensland and a proud Kunja man. He is a PhD Candidate examining Australian imperialism in Papua New Guinea in the pre-World War One era, as well as broader themes surrounding colonialism, imperialism and the development of human rights.. Geoff has a passion for research in Pathways Education, particularly around engagement with Indigenous and Migrant/Refugee communities. He also has a research focus examining the impact and legacy of Imperialism, especially its impact on human rights and conflict and governance in the colonial/imperial space.
