Minister Of Defense, CENTCOM Commander Discuss Common Interests

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 14 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah received Commander of the US Central Command Admiral Brad Cooper on Sunday to discuss topics of mutual interest.
The meeting with Admiral Cooper and his entourage at Bayan Palace in the presence of Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army Lt.-Gen. Khaled Al-Shuriaan, the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
Both sides reviewed the existing military cooperation between Kuwait and the United States, as well as discussed regional and international topics of mutual interest.
They praised the strong bilateral relations, which have lasted for decades due to mutual cooperation, affirming the importance of continuing coordination to face security challenges. (end)
