Algeria's Pres. Names Sifi Ghrieb PM, Orders New Government


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ALGIERS, Sept 14 (KUNA) -- Algerian presidency said Sunday that President Abdelmadjid Tebboune officially appointed Sifi Ghrieb as prime minister, days after naming him acting premier to replace Nadir Larbaoui.
Tebboune tasked Ghrieb with forming a new government after receiving him at the presidency.
On August 28, Tebboune terminated Larbaoui's duties by presidential decree and named Ghrieb acting prime minister to oversee preparations for the Intra-African Trade Fair. (end)
