First Deputy PM Meets CENTCOM Commander On Bilateral Issues

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 14 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Youssef Saud Al-Sabah received visiting Commander of the US Central Command Admiral Brad Cooper on Sunday to discuss topics of mutual interest.
The meeting, attended by Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army Lt.-Gen. Khaled Al-Shuriaan, reviewed a the latest developments of the situations in the region and the joint efforts to preserve security and stability, according to a statement from the Ministry of Interior.
Both sides highlighted the importance of continuing coordination and consultation in the framework of the strong friendship between their two countries. (pickup previous)
