The overseas buzz increased further with a large number of NRI audiences flocking to theaters in the US and Canada.

After grossing ₹27.20 crores worldwide on the first day, Mirai collected a similar amount on the second day, crossing the ₹50 crore gross mark in just two days.

Trade analysts predict that Mirai is sure to cross the ₹100 crore mark by the end of its first weekend. They believe that with good word-of-mouth, positive responses across all languages, and if the weekday collection momentum continues, it has a chance to gross ₹150 crores by next week.
