Dubai Taxi Company PJSC (DTC), a leader in smart and sustainable mobility, has signed an agreement with Electric Vehicle Services LLC (EVS) to provide end-to-end maintenance for its electric taxis and limousines, spanning multiple EV brands. The agreement reinforces Dubai’s vision for a zero-emission transportation future and ensures operational excellence across one of the city’s most advanced EV fleets.
By partnering with the UAE’s leading EV service provider, DTC underscores its commitment to prioritizing passenger safety, enhancing vehicle performance, and delivering seamless customer experience. Under the agreement, EVS will service part of DTC’s fleet comprising of 440 electrical vehicles, covering everything from high-voltage battery diagnostics and electric motor servicing to thermal management systems, software updates, and drivetrain recalibration. As the UAE’s first specialized EV maintenance centre, EVS combines certified expertise, purpose-built tools, and advanced diagnostics tailored for electric vehicles.
The agreement by was signed Ammar Albreiki, Chief Operating Officer of Dubai Taxi Company, and Saeed Al Junaibi, Chief Executive Officer of EVS Electric Vehicle Services LLC at DTC headquarters in the presence of senior officials.
This collaboration supports Dubai’s Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and the UAE’s Net Zero 2050 target, ensuring the sustainable operation of electric taxis while lowering carbon emissions and enhancing long-term fleet resilience.
