Poor Visibility, Hot Weather During The Weekend: Qatar Meteorology
Doha: Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) forecasts poor horizontal visibility in some areas during the weekend.
On Friday, weather conditions are expected to be misty to foggy at first, followed by hot weather with haze during daytime. Chances of rain are also forecasted offshore due to cloud formations.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, the northern areas of the country will experience foggy conditions at first, followed by hot daytime, clouds, and a chance of rain offshore.
Temperatures during the weekend will also range from 30 degrees Celsius to 39 degrees Celsius.
Wind directions on Friday will be in the northeasterly direction at 5-15KT, while on Saturday, it will be from northerly to northeasterly direction at 8-18KT gusting to 25KT.
Sea heights are also forecasted to range from 1-3ft increasing to 3-6ft in the evening for Friday. While on Saturday, sea heights will range from 2-4ft rising to 6ft to the north.
In a previous report, the Department also forecasted a relative increase in humidity levels in the country on Thursday to Friday, September 11 to 12, 2025.
