Azerbaijan To Launch Pilot Project On Artificial Rain Technology By 2027
Research on the development of artificial rain technology in Azerbaijan will be carried out in three stages between 2025 and 2027, Azernews reports per local media.
The Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency announced this during Baku Water Week.
By the end of 2025, a feasibility study and project documentation are expected to be completed. The following year, in 2026, a pilot initiative will be prepared with the identification of relevant areas.
In 2027, Azerbaijan plans to implement its first pilot project on artificial rain technology, marking a step toward advancing innovative solutions in water management and climate resilience.
