Khyber Police Seize Large Quantity Of Drugs, Arrest Afghan Smuggler In Landi Kotal
Police in Khyber district seized a huge cache of narcotics and arrested an Afghan smuggler during a major operation, officials said on Tuesday.
According to details, acting on special directives of DPO Khyber Rai Mazhar Iqbal, police intensified their crackdown on drug peddlers and smugglers across the district.
During a blockade near Nez Wali Khel Market, SHO Landi Kotal Adnan Afridi and ASI Bahar Gul stopped a suspicious car and recovered 102 kilograms of charas, 50 kilograms of ice, and 17 kilograms of heroin. The Afghan smuggler was arrested on the spot, and a case has been registered against him.

DPO Rai Mazhar Iqbal stated that eliminating the menace of drugs and protecting the youth from their harmful effects is the foremost mission of Khyber Police. He urged citizens to support police efforts, particularly in saving students from the devastating impact of ice.
He further said that drug dealers are a cancer for society, and the campaign against them will continue with full force until narcotics peddlers and other criminals are eradicated from the region.
