PISQ Marks Defence Day Of Pakistan With Patriotic Fervour

Marsūs with great dignity and patriotic spirit.

The program was organised as part of an awareness initiative for students, aiming to instil values of bravery, unity, and sacrifice while paying tribute to the martyrs who defended the nation. The school had the distinct honour of welcoming Commodore Sheir Wali Khan, Defence Attaché at the Embassy of Pakistan to Qatar, as the chief guest. His presence elevated the significance of the event, and his concluding speech was both motivational and deeply appreciated by the audience.

The event commenced with a performance by Primary Wing students, who sang the iconic milli naghma“Yeh Watan Tumhara Hai.” Their melodious voices, filled with sincerity and patriotism, captivated the audience and won heartfelt applause.

Students from the Girls and Boys Wings presented a moving tableau on Allama Iqbal's poem“Yeh Ghazi Yeh Tere Purisrar Bande,” a tribute to the martyrs whose courage and sacrifice remain eternal in Pakistan's history. Additionally, several students delivered thought-provoking speeches, highlighting the significance of Defence Day and the Quranic message of steadfastness symbolised by Bunyān
Marsūs.

On behalf of the school, the Principal of PISQ, Chaudhry Muhammad Afzal presented a token of gratitude to the chief guest in appreciation of his support and presence.

Speaking on the occasion, Commodore Khan praised the outstanding performances of the students, commended PISQ for nurturing patriotism among the youth, and emphasised the importance of unity and resilience in today's world.

The programme concluded with renewed national pride.
