Spain Recalls Envoy From Israeli Occupation

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MADRID, Sept 8 (KUNA) -- The Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Monday its Ambassador Ana Maria Solomon Perez has been recalled from Tel Aviv for explanations in response to "inappropriate accusations" against the Spanish government.
Earlier today, Foreign Minister of the Israeli occupation entity Gideon Saar accused Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez of antisemitism due to the latter's criticism of the war on Gaza.
Sanchez's government has recently adopted more measures against vessels and aircraft carrying weapons to the Israeli occupation in an effort to force the Israeli occupation forces into stopping "the genocide in Gaza." (end)
