Zelensky And Swedish Foreign Minister Discuss Joint Defense Projects In Uzhhorod
"Together with Sweden's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Maria Malmer Stenergard, we discussed joint defense projects and the needs of our warriors. She is in Uzhhorod today, and this is already her second visit to Ukraine. I am grateful for her personal support of our state," the President emphasized.

Zelensky specified that the meeting also covered the continuation of aid to Ukraine, the preparation of a new defense package, the PURL initiative, the protection of Ukrainian airspace, investments in Ukrainian drone production, and the prospects for joint defense projects.
"I am grateful to the people of Sweden, the government, and the Prime Minister for supporting our nation from the very beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion," Zelensky stated.
Also, the website of the Office of the President adds that the parties discussed the possibility of increasing investment in Ukrainian drone production and the prospects for joint defense projects. They agreed to work on this issue and take steps to increase the strength of both states.
For his part, the President expressed gratitude for the $4 billion in defense support provided this year by Sweden.

"This is truly very significant assistance. The Prime Minister also told me that you will be among those leaders who decided to provide Ukraine with security guarantees. We greatly appreciate this, thank you,” the President noted.
