Dubai Holding Asset Management has unveiled Dubai Retail as the new unified brand bringing together more than 40 malls and lifestyle destinations across the emirate. This consolidation stems from the 2024 integration of Nakheel and Meydan into Dubai Holding, aimed at driving scalability, efficiency and long-term competitiveness across its retail operations. The newly branded network spans 10 malls, 15 lifestyle destinations and 18 community-focused retail centres, housing upwards of 6,500 retailers in over 13 million square feet of gross leasable area, positioning the entity as a substantial contributor to Dubai's retail and tourism economy.

One notable change under the Dubai Retail umbrella includes the renaming of Nakheel Mall to Palm Jumeirah Mall following redevelopment of part of the venue, reinforcing its flagship status on the Palm Jumeirah. Meanwhile, the recent launch of Nad Al Sheba Mall and the ongoing Al Khail Avenue development-which will add another 1.2 million square feet upon completion-highlight the brand's growth trajectory.

Malek Al Malek, Group CEO of Dubai Holding Asset Management, emphasised that Dubai Retail“draws on the strength and synergies of the wider Dubai Holding ecosystem - including development and asset management - positioning it to seize the opportunities presented by a rapidly expanding population, a thriving tourism sector and forward-looking urban development.” Fareed Abdelrahman, Managing Director of Retail Destinations at DHAM, noted that being among the region's largest retail networks“is only the starting point,” and that the unified brand strengthens the ability to grow strategically, align with global retail trends and elevate customer experiences.

Under the Dubai Retail banner, the portfolio includes malls such as Palm Jumeirah Mall, Ibn Battuta Mall, The Outlet Village, Circle Mall, Dragon Mart and Golden Mile Galleria, with Al Khail Avenue in development. Lifestyle offerings include Bluewaters, JBR, Palm West Beach, Souk Al Seef, Souk Madinat Jumeirah and other vibrant leisure destinations. The retail centres serve communities across the city, including Discovery Gardens, Al Furjan, Jumeirah Park, District One, and International City.
