Doha: Minister of Social Development and Family HE Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi affirmed that the International Day of Charity was not merely a commemoration, but rather an opportunity to highlight noble human values and to showcase the vital role of charitable work in strengthening social cohesion and achieving sustainable development.

In a statement marking the International Day of Charity, Her Excellency said that the State of Qatar has established a leading global position in this field through pioneering initiatives, humanitarian projects, and impactful international partnerships whose positive outcomes have improved the lives of individuals in many parts of the world.

The Minister of Social Development and Family praised all those working in the charitable and humanitarian sector, valuing their continuous efforts and generosity in spreading good and promoting solidarity among peoples.
