Russia Announces Appointment Of New Ambassador To Uzbekistan

TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, September 5. Russian
President Vladimir Putin has appointed Alexei Yerkhov as the
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian
Federation to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Trend reports.
Prior to this appointment, Yerkhov headed Russia's diplomatic mission in Türkiye.
His predecessor, Oleg Malginov, concluded his tenure as ambassador to Uzbekistan in June of this year.
