Russian Forces Shell Sumy Region 122 Times In 24 Hours, Several People Wounded

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported this on Facebook .

"In the Sumy community, as a result of a UAV strike on a civilian infrastructure facility, two men born in 1963 and 1966 were injured. In the same community, a 56-year-old man was wounded by debris when one of the drones was shot down. A girl born in 2005 was also injured as a result of falling UAV debris," the report said.

In addition, a 65-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man who were injured in enemy attacks the day before sought medical attention at regional medical facilities.

It is noted that the most attacks were recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.

The enemy actively used guided aerial bombs, strikes from MLRS, UAVs, and the dropping of VOG explosives from UAVs:

almost 20 KAB missile strikes; almost 20 strikes from MLRS;

almost 20 strikes with UAVs; more than 10 VOG explosive drops from UAVs.

The enemy also carried out strikes with FPV drones on the territory of the Sumy region.

Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed: in the Sumy community, civilian infrastructure facilities and non-residential premises were damaged; in the Seredyna-Buda community, a civilian infrastructure facility was mangled; in the Sveska community, non-residential premises and five units of freight equipment were damaged.

Over the past 24 hours, local authorities, together with units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police, and public organizations from border communities, have evacuated seven people.

The air raid alert in the region lasted 21 hours and 17 minutes during the day.

As reported by Ukrinform, in the Sumy community, as a result of an attack by Russian strike drones, hits on critical and industrial infrastructure facilities were recorded, and a civilian was injured.
